Sam nodded when Kyle confirmed he was OK. Fortunately for them, Sylar seemed stunned for the moment. Sam began trying to make the substance spread so it covered Gabriel completely in place and wouldn't let him move at all. It took more concentration that she had wished, but using her power didn't take much energy.
"What do we do now?" Sam silently swore. She had been hoping Kyle would know. Up until now that part had been easy: don't get killed. Now that she had the advantage, though... Part of her wanted to just run, but she doubted she would be able to hold Sylar well without being able to see him. They could knock him out first but that still left the problem that he'd just come looking again. And he seemed to be pretty good at finding people.
Sam also knew she couldn't kill him. Or, rather, she wouldn't, she supposed she technically could.
Calling for help was also out of the question. She doubted anyone she would call would be any better than Kyle and her. Even if there were people who dealt with this kind of stuff, she didn't know how to reach them.
She realized she still hadn't answered Kyle. "Nothing comes to mind..."

Kyle sighed, finally managing to get back his breath, and went over to stand beside Samantha. That way they can talk quietly without Gabriel hearing them. "I really don't know what we can do next. We can't leave him here, we can't 'get rid of him'. How can we get him out of here without him attacking us?" This situation was so....straight out of tv. To be honest, Kyle was totally in over his head.
He looked back over at Gabriel, who was still trapped by Samantha's purple stuff, he still couldn't remember the name of it. But it wouldn't hold forever. How long would it hold? "Hey, how long will that stuff keep him there?"
